採圓筒垂直式設計,內部由多層乾燥孔板鋪疊而成,每一層板皆有扒料葉片。馬達傳動機構位於乾燥機正下方,經由導桿之傳動來帶動扒料葉片,污泥則由乾燥機上方之入料壓條機供給定量之物料,經扒料葉片翻動傳送物料,污泥藉由上方經一層又一層的翻料傳送至乾燥機下方,如此污泥便不堵塞且又能均勻的分佈在乾燥孔板上達到均勻受熱之效果。經乾燥後之污泥再由底部輸送裝置運離乾燥機。乾燥所需熱源除從乾燥機底部導入乾燥機,且在桶內以360度之迴旋路徑上升外,各乾燥孔板內亦可通入熱源來加熱污泥。因此於乾燥機內即可保持均溫且使熱源與污泥作完全充分之接觸,獲得最佳乾燥效果。

The vertical cylinder design is composed of multiple layers of stacked discs. Each layer is equipped with a material picking blade. The motor convey is situated at the bottom of the dryer and the material picking blade is powered through the rod transmission. Sludge is supplied through the plodder machine of material feeding on the top of the dryer at a fixed rate and delivered to the bottom of dryer through material stirring. This enables smooth delivery layer by layer from top to bottom of the dryer as well as even heat distribution among the stack discs. Dried sludge is then transmitted out through the conveyor system at the bottom.
Drying heat is introduced to the dryer from the bottom in a 360-degree swirling upward route. A heat source can also be connected to the stack discs to dry the sludge. Thus, even heat distribution can be maintained within the dryer through a complete and close contact between sludge and heat, thereby the optimal effectiveness is secured.
